Service Description

It is well known that early diagnosis and management of foot complications prevents up to 85% of amputations. In fact, diabetic foot screening is recommended for every patient living with diabetes, at least once a year. The screening involves a detailed assessment to determine any foot issues which are known to put the foot at risk of complications such as ulcerations and amputations. The assessment includes: - vascular assessment, - neurological assessment, - dermatological and musculoskeletal foot check up, - plantar pressure analyses (dynamic foot scans)
